With decades of experience between them, Johnny and Eric bring a hands-on approach to every project. They care about the details, communicate clearly, and believe doing the job right includes how you treat people along the way.

Meet the crew

Johnny B. Lamboy

Co-owner / Head Honcho

With more than 20 years in collision repair and construction, Johnny has built his career on being detail-oriented, quality craftsmanship, and creative problem-solving. His start in collision repair helped shape the standard he brings to every job. Helping people bring their ideas to life quickly became his favorite part of the job.

For Johnny, good work is about more than what gets built. He believes the experience should feel just as solid as the finished product. That means showing up, communicating clearly, listening closely, and treating every home with the same care he would his own. That approach is the foundation for Good Work & Company: honest, thoughtful work built around lasting relationships with clients and the Central Oregon community.

And yes, the “B.” has a story. Johnny doesn’t actually have a middle name. Over the years, friends started filling in the blank with Johnny B. Good, Johnny B. Building, Johnny B. Dancing… you get the idea. Eventually, the nickname stuck, and today it’s become a fitting little piece of the Good Work personality.

Originally from the East Coast, Johnny first came to Bend on a spontaneous road trip for live music and never really left. When he’s not on a jobsite, you’ll usually find him listening to music, on a dance floor, traveling to see friends, or spending time on his farm. That newest chapter even inspired the sunrise in the Good Work logo, a nod to new beginnings, Central Oregon skies, and Johnny’s belief in always looking ahead.

Eric Agnew

Co-owner / Man with a Plan

With more than 20 years in construction and home improvement, Eric brings a mix of hands-on experience, business know-how, and a genuine interest in helping people find solutions that work. He got his start in hardscaping, building decks, fences, and outdoor spaces before moving into general contracting and full-home remodels. Over the years, his work has taken him from job sites to project management and contractor consulting, giving him a well-rounded view of what it takes to make a project successful.

Eric has a knack for understanding what people need. He enjoys getting to know the people he works with, understanding their goals and challenges, and finding practical ways to keep things moving in the right direction. His approach is straightforward and personable, with an emphasis on good communication, thoughtful planning, and making sure everyone feels confident in the process.

At Good Work & Company, Eric brings the business and organizational side of his experience together with a deep understanding of what actually happens in the field. Having spent years both on the jobsite and alongside contractors, he knows how to bridge the gap between a great idea and a well-executed project. His ability to balance the details with the bigger picture makes him a natural “Man with a Plan” and an important part of what makes Good Work work.

When he’s off the clock, Eric is a devoted dad who is happiest spending time with his family. He’s also an avid birder and hiker, and a longtime Pokémon fan. Whether he’s exploring a new trail, spotting a bird he hasn’t seen before, or getting far too excited about Pokémon, Eric brings plenty of curiosity and enthusiasm to life beyond the job site.
